Catching Up

I haven't posted much lately, so I did the whole month of April at once. The next three posts will show you what we have been so busy doing - Easter, RA super Saturday, and the children's musical at church. Stay tuned...if the rain holds off, tomorrow is opening day for baseball. Hopefully we won't get rained out and I'll have some pictures from Nick's first games of the season.

Jehovah's Believe It or Not

On April 17, the kids participated in the children's musical at church to help raise money for summer camp. The musical highlighted the amazing miracles Jesus performed. They both did a great job and Meghan even had her very own speaking part.

Nick, Meghan and her friend Tess were all involved in the miracle when Jesus healed a paralyzed man. Meghan and Tess were the friends who brought their buddy (Nick) to see Jesus. Nick is the paralyzed friend on the stretcher.

Meghan did such a good job with her part - she didn't forget any of her lines.

RA Super Saturday

Several weeks ago, Nick participated in his first ever RA Super Saturday. Several area Baptist churches came together to compete in all kinds of events with the big event being the Pinewood Derby. This was Nick's first time to build a pinewood derby car so we didn't really know what to expect. Now we know how serious the competition is and we'll be ready next year. Here's Nick's car...
