FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Today was the first day of school. Meghan was excited to start 4th grade. She got the teacher she wanted (Mrs. Moore) and 2 good friends are in her class. Nick, however, was not so excited. He got the teacher he wanted (Mrs. Mitchell) BUT he has no friends in his class. Thankfully, when I picked them up, Nick said he had a good day and even made a new friend. Here's some pics before they went to school this morning.

BACK-TO-SCHOOL SLEEPOVER

To celebrate the end of summer the kids got to have a sleepover. Meghan got to invite 3 friends and Nick invited his best buddy, Jake. Here's Nick having some sprinkler fun.

And the winner was.....the # 1's !!!! The boys team came in last. I think they came in last place every time but at least they had fun.

Swimming Fun

Grandad took the kids swimming this afternoon. I think their favorite part is jumping off the diving board and trying all the silly poses they can come up with.

Nick has gotten to be a pretty good swimmer this summer - thanks to Grandad.

First Baptist Block Party

Our church had a block party tonight for the community. As you can see, the kids had a great time on all the water slides and blow-ups.

Finally Blogging!

We have finally given in to peer pressure and started our own blog. We'll try to recap the highlights of our summer starting with our trip to Disney World with the Morgan family - Granmom, Grandad, Uncle Ben & Aunt Molly
